Excess Flow Valves

It operates by shutting down when the fuel flow exceeds the set limit, preventing potential hazards. While normally open, it allows fluid or gas flow in one direction and automatically closes if the flow surpasses the specified rate, indicated by an arrow stamp. These valves should undergo thorough testing upon installation and periodically, with intervals not exceeding 180 months, to ensure reliable performance, including simulating line breaks to verify proper closure during excess flow conditions.
